百年好盒 Music Box

This was our 1st Wedding Gig whereby the couple sang! Accompanied by our band, they sang “Sometimes When We Touch” together and Darwin sang “爱是永恒” for the bride.

This Wedding Gig was requested by one of our friends – Lina. Joyce is her sister and she invited us to do this show for her :)

This is our first show which has TWO Wedding Live Bands, and also our first that has a Minister attending as a special guest – Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean!

After our set, we were requested to go over to Mr Teo’s table to have a chat! We were so excited about it then ^^ He asked if we were professionals and praised us for our good show! ^^
It’s definitely motivating for us to have compliments from a Minister level personnel! It’s a pity we never took photos with him :(

Location: Grand Hyatt Singapore

This our first wedding gig whereby we sang the Couple’s March-In Song! The couple chose Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, and it was done smoothly :)

It is also a first for us to accept song requests and dedications from guests. The couple did up a simple dedication sheet for each table. And we have guests requesting for popular Chinese hits like 小薇 by 黄品源 and also 一人一半 by 伍家辉 too! It was a great experience and we did enjoy it as much as the guests did! ^^

This show marks our very first Wedding Show even before our band was named Music Box 百年好盒. Thanks to the couple Yvonne & Dominic, for giving us the opportunity to perform in their lovely event of their lives. They are actually Raynor’s ex-collegues and friends back in his company in 2007.
